The Model G305 FSK Modem is a stand-alone unit that converts RS232 to an FSK Modem. This unit is used with an external radio that has audio Tx and Rx, and supports the use of VHF and UHF “splinter” frequencies.

The G305 is typically used at the computer (PC, PLC or RTU) that is polling RTU or RIO units in the field. It is packaged in an attractive enclosure for panel or DIN rail mounting, and has terminations for standard DB9 serial port cable, 12vdc power, audio and PTT signals for the external radio, and has LEDs for monitoring power and data activity.
